Start with handedness and speed
A one-handed Weapon can leave different loadout options than a two-handed Weapon. Speed changes turn planning, so compare it before raw-looking attack text.
The current Weapons list contains 20 named records plus four category cards. Compare one- or two-handed use, speed, attacks, Energy, status effects, and obtainment before calling any Weapon the best for your run.
Heavy, Medium, Light, and Magic Weapons are category cards; the other 20 links are named Weapon records. Open Dagger, Rapier, Sword, Greatsword, Greataxe, Staff, Wand, and the rest directly from this list.
These 4 entries expose the fields players usually need first. Open any card for the complete current text and attachments.
WeaponA one-handed starter weapon with Slash and Double Strike.
WeaponA two-handed starter weapon with Slice and a finishing Execution Blow.
WeaponA two-handed starter weapon with Cleave and Sharp Sweep.
WeaponA two-handed scythe that trades speed for Void damage and Lifesteal.
The useful comparison is situational. Read the fields that change your turn options and match them to the enemy and build in front of you.

Check each named attack, its Energy cost, cooldown, critical effect, and any status it applies. A powerful move you cannot afford is not automatically the best choice.

Where this directory comes from: names and linked fields were checked against the public Forgotten Stories Trello on September 5, 2026. A public card can describe planned or work-in-progress data; it does not prove every field is implemented in the current Roblox build.

The current public Weapons list has 24 open cards: 20 named Weapon records and four category cards for Heavy, Medium, Light, and Magic Weapons.
The current records label Sword, Greatsword, and Greataxe as starter Weapons. Sword is one-handed; Greatsword and Greataxe are two-handed and slower on their current cards.
Both names appear in the full directory on this page and link directly to their current public records. A dedicated QTE guide should wait for verified weapon-specific inputs and timing.
