Frequently Asked Questions About Forgotten Stories Armor

Which Forgotten Stories armor adds rune slots?

The Vorant Mask and Vorant Plate both increase rune capacity, each granting +1 Max Runes when equipped.

How many Iron Ores are required to craft a full Iron armor set?

Crafting all three pieces takes 27 Iron Ores: 6 for the Iron Helmet, 15 for the Iron Chestplate, and 6 for the Iron Leggings. If you obtain the chestplate from the 'Justice In The Area' quest, you only need 12 Iron Ores.

What are the crafting materials and risks of wearing Vorant armor?

Crafting both Vorant pieces requires 19 Living Bark (4 for the mask, 15 for the plate) and 1 Emerald. While they grant Max Runes, Max Mana, and listed resistances, the Vorant Plate carries a -20% Fire Resistance penalty.

How does Speed on iron armor affect combat?

Speed affects turn order and extra-turn thresholds. Iron Chestplate lists −0.15 Speed and Iron Leggings −0.10. Equipping them can move you below a threshold or behind an opponent, so check your resulting Speed rather than judging armor by Defense alone.

What resistances are provided by leather armor pieces?

The Leather Vest provides +8% resistance to Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Slash, and Blunt. The Leather Pads provide +7% resistance across the same six damage types. Both are purchased with silver.

How can players obtain the Iron Chestplate without crafting?

Players can earn the Iron Chestplate as a quest reward by completing 'Justice In The Area', saving the 15 Iron Ores needed to craft it.
